Hi, I am purchasing a MacBook Pro this Friday.

I have used DOS / Windows all my life (other then a BBC Micro) and currently have a Win 7 64 system with 3 Dell U2412M monitors.

What I want to know is this - will I be able to use my MBP 15.4/2.5GHZ/16GB/512GB-GBR to drive the three Dell monitors and if so, how will I do so / what will I need?

I'm happy to have the MacBook drive the three monitors whilst it itself is active, using its keyboard, or even for it to be closed and sitting in some dock, and me having to use an external keyboard and mouse.

Mac World is new to me, so all advice welcome.

Cheers,

Chris.

Of course you can. Your MacBook Pro has 3 video outputs.

You will need two adapters for MiniDP to DVI
And one adapter for HDMI to DVI

If you don't already have the adapters, you should be able to pick the adapters up for < $10 each at MonoPrice, Amazon, or wherever you prefer to buy electronics. Apple sells them for closer to $20-30!
