It means that when I explained the pricing available via the Apple store on Amazon and my dissatisfaction at the previous discussion I'd had with the Apple rep on the subject, they sent me a quote that matched (nearly) the Amazon price. The AppleCare+ was also cheaper than on Amazon. So I went with it as a package as I was happier to buy from Apple. All of which suggests to me that in the run up to Black Friday madness they have some room to manouvre if you have a discussion with them rather than straight up ordering online with no interaction. Or, perhaps they are anticipating some upcoming Apple Black Friday deals coming soon. I'm not sure but the quote worked for me so I went for it. With 32GB RAM added on, so I spent more than anticipated I suppose that's a win for me and a win for them too!
I returned something a few years ago and they closed my account and banned me for life. I never got a chance to ask why. There was a big thing about this. I don't trust them and certainly wouldn't buying this.
I’ve been using Amazon for 20 years. Their no-quibbles returns policy is second to none. In all those years, I’ve never had a problem with a significant number of returns. I’ve even been refunded for products six months out of warranty before. No disrespect intended, but if they closed your account and banned you, there would have been some reasonable cause for concern.
