Are you talking about the real iPad 3, the first one with the retina screen and the 32-pin dock connector. I hope not.
If you don’t want to bring your laptop, I’d recommend the 10.5” Pro and the Apple Smart Keyboard. That combo is very laptop-like. My 12.9” rarely leaves the Smart Keyboard. It folds up nicely, also. Carrying an Bluetooth keyboard will cramp your style. Instead, with the ASK, it’s as easy as just opening a Smart Cover.
I think typing on the virtual keyboard gets old fast.
The iPad 3 is an ancient device

Ultimately depends on what you hope to be able to do on your iPad. Any examples?Hi guys, i planned to buy an iPad so i dont have to bring my PC everywhere do you guys think iPad 3 is enough or should i go with iPad pro? which one is worth the money?

This is the way to go. When I got the 12.9, I didn’t realize how much I’d love having two iPads for different purposes. They both get a ton of use. My poor MBP is sitting all alone upstairs. 🙁 I think I’m going to have to find him a new home.I am thinking that I will upgrade in '18 but I will keep my iPad as well.
