Buying new PC laptop

My previous laptop is where the bulk of my itunes is at, when I get the new laptop and synch my 3Gs and 5th Nano how can I make sure nothing gets erased from them?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I didn't meant to cause anything, I copied and pasted the info just in case someone asked what kind of PC it was. I'm not into the whole PC vs. Mac thing, I don't see the point of it, so that wasn't my intention.

Just get a Mac for the love of Steve!

LOL I want a Mac but it isn't doable for me right now. I'm going to get one day but now isn't the time for me financially.

I don't even want to buy a new one but it's falling apart and I barely had it two years, It wasn't Windows it was the freaking manufacturer HP.

I would maybe pay the extra money for the Air but I need an Optical drive for one of my classes.
