What's the range I should look at for 2015 MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch, 8gb ram and 256gb of space.
Currently seeing 900-1300 range for all the varieties including used, new, refurbished... etc

I'd love 512 but 256 is just more than enough and I won't fill up the computer with garbage that I don't use.

I just grabbed a new last gen top spec for $1899USD on ebay, no tax and free shipping. I was going to get a new gen top spec with the upgraded graphics, but since I'm only doing iOS development and maybe some video editing on it, I don't need all the new features. I canceled my $3000+ order and got something $1100 cheaper -- to be fair, though, a portion of that was Apple Care. I'll probably get it for the laptop I just ordered at some point, but not now. The ebay posting also comes with a second charger.

Mind PMing me the seller's info if they sell more than just the one you bought? May go this route.

Im thinking about getting a 2015 15' as well with this config but am worried about only having the integrated graphics card...I dont intend to do any video editing but do want to do some light gaming (age of empires, maybe CS GO?) and connect (via HDMI) to a 4K screen

  • 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB DDR3L RAM, and Intel Iris Pro Graphics
  • 15.4-inch Retina display with 2880 x 1800 resolution
  • 256GB PCIe-based flash storage drive

Same here. If someone knowledgeable about the graphics options could chime in on this, I'd appreciate it!

I was able to find the 2.5GHz 512GB SSD version with dedicated graphics card for right around $1800 brand new on eBay. FYI.
