    Hey guys,

I have a 2010 MP 4 core. I need some RAM, like today! haha...I was thinking of swinging by Fry's to pick up some RAM and a drive. Will they have anything appropriate for my MP? I know there's a temp sensor requirement, right? What should I be looking for?

    Thanks!

    Mike

You should look for what your MP requires. Pinout, bus speed, slots available relative to the size stick for the amount of RAM you want that it can use.

If you run the Crucial Memory Scanner it will tell you what exact RAM your MP can take.

If this is available at 'Fry's' I do not know.

They will. They usually only carry one or two brands that would work, though.

I have heard people buying things that were returned, but sold as new. Just an FYI.

Wish we had a Frys out here, only a microcenter.
