I'm really excited to see that the iPad 4 was announced today because it'll be my first iPad. I stuck around for quite some time, holding off from buying an iPad 3 just in case today's announcement mentioned a refreshed iPad. Anyways, I plan on putting just my favorite music on there (about 2-3 GB worth) because I already own a 80 GB iPod Classic and my phone that holds 16 GB of internal memory and 8 GB external from a microSD card. I even have most of my songs on Google Music. I do plan on taking this iPad to Japan for winter break, so I will probably put 2-4 movies on it that I can take on/off. The ultimate question is app space. Based on your experiences, would 16 GB be enough to put the media I want plus a decent surplus of apps? Or should I be safe and go with a 32 GB? Since I'm already willing to fork out $500+ dollars, I don't think another $100 would be too bad... but an extra $100 would be nice for my trip to Japan!!
