I understand when you buy music on itunes say you bought 1 song from T.I. and later his full album comes out with that song but you want to buy the full album without buying that same song again they charge you less to buy the album and they will only send you say its a 10 track album then give you 9 since you already have 1 of the songs on the album. Does the same apply if you bought like 2 episodes of the office and then later you decide to buy the the season pass/ buy the season so then they would give you the rest of the episodes you don't have for a cheaper price?

It's true that if you buy one song on an album then later decide you want the rest of the album, iTunes will sell the rest of the album minus the cost of the songs you already bought.

This doesn't work for TV shows. If you buy one episode then later decide to buy the season pass, you have to pay full price and you will get the episode that you purchased earlier again.
