iPhone Bypass Jailbreak Check 8.1.2??

I have TMN subscription with my cable, and their app keeps saying it will only play video on an unmodified iOS. So it's clearly detecting the JB.

I have tried Flex 2 and downloaded about 6 patches that are supposed to disable the jailbreak check. None worked. I don't know if I am using the app properly though. (I clicked on the cloud icon, popular, and then chose all the ones called disable jailbreak check. Once downloaded it says I have to enable the patch. So on the main scree I turned on the checkmark) Is that all I am supposed to do? Or do I need to somehow patch it TO a specific app? I can click on TMN GO, and then it lists all of the libraries etc and I am lost at that point.

I also tried the xCon app and it didn't work either. I am at a loss.... I really want to use TMN GO because well... I am paying for it with my cable subscription and it's free on my iPhone! But I don't want to lose the JB to use it. I have had tweaks before in previous versions of iOS that disabled this JB check universally.... is there anything that works like this with 8.1.2??

I am using iPhone 6+ 128 Gb. 8.1.2 JB with PP

The latest xCon beta works but it messes up other things such as sending attachments in the mail app and a bunch of other random bugs throughout the OS. I would give it a try and if its too buggy for you I'm not sure where to go from there. I have Directv and can't use the app on my phone because xCon was too buggy for me and no other tweak makes it work

I dont use the default mail app... does it do this to the Gmail app as well?

I may have to be happy with Crave TV, CTV GO and Netflix for now :(

I've been having the same issues with the latest build of xCon as well. I had to uninstall it from my iPhone 6 and iPad because of all the bugs.

I don't use the Gmail app so I'm not sure but it causes a TON of bugs throughout the OS. If you don't absolutely need to use it then I would stay away from it
 
Okay so I decided to kill my JB to get TMN GO. Only thing is... I upgraded to 8.1.3 and TMN GO still thinks I am JB! How can I fix this? I sacrificed having renamed icons and smaller icons... now my screen looks horrible with huge bloody icons and I still cant use the app I sacrificed the JB for! :(

How do I get it to recognize that I killed the JB?

Don't restore from backup. It must be bringing back files that make the app detect you as jailbroken

I just did a restore and then restored from backup. Its ok now. Originally, I just installed the 8.1.3 update over the JB 8.1.2 and I guess it leaves the directories created by the JB and that's what TMN Go looks for.
 
Well I kind of regret axing my JB but at least the TV apps work now. And I did find a *kind of sort of* way to create custom icons and rename icons.

Iconical. But it's basically creating a bunch of shortcuts on the homescreen, and the old apps are still there. So I am left trying to find places on page 5-6 of folders to 'hide' them all.

The only thing I miss really is the ability to HIDE unwanted or unused apps!

Is there any possible way to do this without a JB? There used to be a bug that would work but I cant get it to in 8.1.3
 
Unfortunately I AM that OCD.

I used Springtomize to hide them before... but I guess my choices are JB and no TV apps... or TV apps and no JB. At least until certain apps that prevent the JB from being detected are updated.

There is medication for that:D
I dont know, I wouldn't JB just for that reason to hide unused apps but up to you.

Well. it wasnt the *only* reason. I also got rid of carrier name, changed the font for icon labels, used icon renamer to fix the apps that devs don't know how to name properly (and end up with truncated names), I also resized the icons to 90% so they are smaller and changed some of the icons to my own custom ones (some devs have beautiful apps and crappy looking icons for some reason! I am a graphic artist so I feel like creating a new icon for them and sending it to them LOL) But basically my reasons for Jailbreaking have been reduced to only a few things now. It used to be more for functionality (Lock Info and 3G Unrestrictor etc) but now it's more just to fix cosmetic annoyances).
