Hey,
So I noticed that if you have your iPhone locked with Touch ID, on iOS 10 when an iMessage notification appears, you need to do this cool 3D Touch thing to answer from the lock screen itself. Thing is, if you have the password, when you do the 3D Touch thing, in a very non esthetic way the password screen appears, you put your finger on the sensor and only then it opens the chat window in the lock screen.
Now the reason I put a password on my phone is that people won't get In, getting into the chat window does not really concern me.. So is there any way to keep the Touch ID enabled, but to do that you won't have to use it or the password while answering notifications on the lock screen itself, only for opening the phone?

I believe Settings-->Touch ID & Passcode -->And checking/unchecking Message Reply will do what you're asking. (IF I understand you correctly.
