So I have a 10.2 iPhone and a 10.3.2 iPad. Girlfriend has a 10.3.2 iPhone and it happens on all3

When the phone is locked if we do hey Siri or hold the home button to pop and Siri and say exemple

" give me directions to dad". Siri will ask us to unlock our iPhone.

But if we say "give me directions to mcdonalds" ( not a contact)

Or give me directions to "123 love street". The Siri will open maps np and give us the directions.

Anyway to fix his

No, because its not giving out any personal information. It opens maps on the lock and gives directions, but if you were to hit the home button, your phone is still locked. Its not actually opening the maps app. If you look at the bottom if says "press home to unlock".

Not sure I understand

I want it to open map directly without asking for my passcode when I say " hey Siri give me directions to dad"
It works without asking ny passcode if I ask to call or to text.

Why doesn't it work the same way with maps?

Potentially that would give away private information (as in the address) that Apple doesn't see fit to expose when the device is locked.

I guess just sucks while driving

I might get a new car with CarPlay will CarPlay bypass that issue or will I still be stuck?

Because its a privacy issue. When you say call or text dad, its not showing the number, it just shows the name "Dad".
