Hey guys Ive been trying to implement a database with a c++ Xcode project I've been working on and I can't seem to set it up just right. I've downloaded the connector and put the files in the usr/local, attempted to add the paths in Xcode and the links but I'm still having trouble. If anyone can give me a good set of instructions that would be great. I have tried looking online and I can't find a more specific set of instructions. I'm running on Yosemite and have the newest version of Xcode. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

If I were developing a new project I'd stay clear of MySQL. PostgreSQL is a much better choice and has a rather pleasant C++ API to boot.
