C++ / XCode development machine. What should I purchase ?

Hello,

I currently have a G4 900 Mhz. With 1.25 GB Ram.

I use the machine for C++ software development using
g++/Xcode. The application that I am working on uses
OpenGL extensively.

I am looking to upgrade to a faster machine.

What are the recommendations for a development machine ?

Well, being you already have a 900Mhz G4, I'd recommend getting a G5 if you want a speed upgrade. I'd recommend the dual G5 1.8 PM. I'm partial because I just bought one second hand, but I think it's a real winner.

I'd recommend waiting on the next upgrade on the PMs before you'd purchase a new machine though.
