C2D vs i5/i7 ( notebooks )

How much faster do you find your new i5 MBP compared to your old?

Does it start up alot faster?

How much more power do you see in Logic 9?

I do not own a macbook pro, however i know that all MacBooks / imac/ mac pro's start up at approximately the same time 25 - 30 seconds, (excluding SSD's) with the i5 or i7 apps will launch slightly faster (0.5 seconds) but when rendering something the macbook pro's processor will kick in and make it render faster.
