Cable Internet Through USB

Is it possible for my iMac G3 to receive high speed internet through its USB port? 😕 My modem comes with the cable... and since my ethernet port is all jacked up, I either repair it (which I won't do, I rather sell the comp.😱 ), or use the usb cable.

Yes, it's definitely possible, but you will need to install the relevant driver onto your iMac. What make and model is the USB modem?
