Cable Providers

I am curious on how different each market is with how cable providers offer their services.

Here, we have Cox Communications and they been using the Passport software which seems to be pretty limited. Nothing special such as, crappy VOD quality, slow and buggy.

I know that sometime in 2009 that Cox will be launching a custom software developed by NDS. Which is the same company that developed DirectTV's software

Our provider is Cox too. We have a Motorola HD DVR.

It's slow. But I guess it works.

I had Charter and they were absolute s**t. Got rid of them for AT&T U-verse a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier.
