Apps Cable sign in woes

So I have a COX account and they do not support single sign in on Apple TV. I use the Velocity Go app to watch a live stream of the Velocity channel. Every week I have to sign in to activate the stream option.

Is this app dependent (token expires) or am I missing something to keep this signed in so I don't have to sign in every week?

Same thing happens to my wife when she wants to watch MTV or Lifetime via their respective apps. She has to sign in once a week (sometimes it stretches to two weeks) with our service provider. I imagine like Velocity, the token expires hence the prompt to sign back in again.

COX here too... you have to do every channel one by one.... the single sign in doesn't work.

Try logging out of single sign on in tvOS settings. Then re-sign back in. That usually forces the respective apps to log in as new.
