It looks like you will need a Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter and a Thunderbolt 1/2 cable. Use iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support Some older Mac models can use older iMac models as an external display. support.apple.com
