    Hi,

I'm happy to announce Calcuccino - a programmers' calculator that uses the features of the iPhone to improve on the original physical calculators.

Calcuccino is aimed at programmers, with powerful support for signed, unsigned and floating point numbers, 2-64 bit integers, shifts, rotates, bitwise logic etc… Many features are kept in menus, leaving the main keyboard with big buttons for fast and accurate entry. The UI can be swiped to reveal additional features and user-customizable buttons.

I've already downloaded and have been checking this out.

Got to say that it's a really impressive calculator with some really nice features and a great design.

I love the support for ASCII, integers and different base numbers (easy to switch base by swiping the screen too). You can store favourite functions, and swipe through three panes of these. It also has a history - with email functionality. Pretty useful for calculating stuff when out and about and then retaining a record (I was thinking of calculating a bill for a meal, then later entering in a budgeting app.

    Impressed!

    Hi,

I'm happy to announce the v2.0 release of Calcuccino. The v2.0 release adds:

    • Switching between programmer and scientific modes is now much faster and easier - just tap the control at the top of the screen.
    • Added functions to convert between float / double types and their IEEE-754 internal representations.
    • Tap and hold the ± button to quickly change between signed and unsigned integers.
    • New icon!
