That's it. I know there are apps I can download, but I use Apple for a reason—I'd like to use the same app I'm using on my phone on my iPad.

I will never understand why we can't get Weather and Calculator on the iPad. But I'll stop complaining if they just flip the switch and add them.

I know it's an old complaint. It's so aggravating not understanding why they won't do it.

Maybe they want few devs to earn money. There are quite a few good calc apps on the store.

"Maybe they want few devs to earn money."

I feel certain they don't care about this for calculators and weather.

If there is one that is visually and functionally identical to the Apple one, and ideally has a name very close to 'Calculator', please post it.

Can I ask, what is the big deal with these calculators? I noticed when it was announced for the Apple Watch, the crowd went banana! I seriously don't get it.

Some of us, and there are many, do not want to choose a basic tool like a calculator. Any more than I want to buy a Swiss Army knife that comes with many tools—except you have to choose which Philips head screwdriver you want.

Many people want Apple to give them feature parity across devices, bc it matches, the names match, and there’s no reasonable reason for them to need a DECADE to do this.

Yeah.. I also would like to ask. On the watch, I always use Siri to calculate things.

Who knows. They didn’t add multi user support either even though they did it for tvOS. I personally use PCalc so it doesn’t matter to me, but I find the lack of the Calculator app on the iPad perplexing.

I’ve been asking this same question ever since the iPad was released! I have sent feedback to Apple too many times. Also, I want the Weather and Clock apps on macOS too please. :)

I was hoping to see some accessory apps, like calculator done as ‘panels’ or floating windows as an option instead of needing to be full screen.

Sometimes I think Apple omits these mundane little things on purpose just to mess with us. There's a whole list of obvious little things that they should include, that would be so easy to implement yet they ignore. It's so frustrating.
