Hello,

Realize there are zillions of Calendar Apps, but just cannot seem to find one I like.

What I am after is a very simple one to keep always, and displaying, on the Desktop.
Should have a provision for easily scrolling to another month, or another year.

My old Windows pc had a perfect one, the name of which I unfortunately
can't remember.

I want one that is simple, and Always displays.

And displays itself with a size of a "bit" bigger than my typical Desktop icons.
Just a few times larger; not something that takes over the complete Desktop.
But always there.

Any suggestions, please ?

b. Might as well also ask, please:

Also looking for a Clip Manager, but again very simple and basic. Hopefully free.
Could live with one that doesn't do photos, only text.
Again, very simple and "basic".

Suggestions ?

Thanks,
Bob

Re: Calendar. You can use GeekTool or Ubersicht to put current month on the desktop, and Itsycal to put your calendar in the menubar. Itsycal can scroll months and display appointments with one click.

Re: clip manager. OneNote, Evernote have web clipper browser add-ins. Grab comes with MacOS.

You can use Qdesktop to put any webpage on your desktop. Actual interaction with the page is switchable. Here's an example of a simple local HTML file with embedded Google calendar (with multiple calendars) and a background image.

You could use the actual Google calendar site and fill the desktop...but that's a lot of white.
