I don't know if it has anything to do with the update of the Beta 5 we got yesterday, but I just bought the Apple watch yesterday and the calendar part of it doesn't work.

Any thoughts! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

He could be referring to iOS beta - it's possible he has an iPhone and just bought the Watch yesterday.

Either way; the calendar seems to work fine for me (iOS 9 beta, normal Watch OS).
Well, could be. Then he's just giving not enough info.

Might be a difference if you pair the watch for the first time with iOS8 or 9 beta e.g.

I don't install any betas on any devices anymore. Just not worth the hassle.

What calendar app are you using? The watch will only display entries from the native calendar.

Correct I am also having issues with calendar not syncing between phone/caldav to the watch also I can't use any apps now cause it keeps telling me to unlock my iPhone first

You mean you JUST bought the Apple Watch and instantly installed the beta wOS?
No, I only have IO9 beta 5 on my iphone. Are you supposed to be able to touch a date using the calendar app on the Apple watch and then it goes to that date? I can slide to the next date, but not just pick a date and show what's on that date.

I had to Un pair and re pair my watch to fix a number of issues, music still isn't showing up in music app
