Anyone noticing that calendar is checking location every few minutes?

I had a few events that had a location in my calendar when I set up this new device, and noticed calendar asked for location permission immediately after completing macOS setup, which I have never seen before. Assuming that this is due to the events I added to my calendar yesterday.

I removed the events and calendar is still frequently checking location. Is this normal?

Every time I open the MacBook it checks calendar location

Actually this is incorrect - System Services handles time zone and time setting. Calendar only requests location for “time to leave” notifications. My concern is, after removing the events, why does it request location so frequently?
