Calendar Date Sync Help Please

Hello All, Mini, Tahoe 26.2. I have had this problem for a long time but it has finally gotten to me lol. When ever i open Calendar it is on the last date that I opened it and not on today's date. I have searched the internet far and wide and can not find a resolution to this problem. Does anyone have a solution to get Calendar to open to the Todays date when I open it ? Thank you for your time and help.

Are you using iCloud? If so, turn off Calendar in iCloud setting, on all your devices, and the back on. You can also go into System Settings/General/Date and Time and turn on and off the toggle for 'set time automatically'.
