In previous versions of OS X, I have been able to configure my Google Apps account's calendar in Calendar.app as a Google account. I simply typed in my custom Google Apps domain email address and it linked beautifully. In Yosemite, the calendar errors and only accepts @gmail.com addresses as Google accounts.

Thoughts?

same problem but I wiped my system, did fresh clean install, and trying to add Google Apps account - MAIL and NOTES won't sync, but the other three (Contacts, Calendar and Messages) are loading.

I get:

"THERE WAS A PROBLEM SETTING UP THE NOTES ACCOUNT."
"NOTES COULDN'T DISCOVER THE ACCOUNT SETTINGS FOR THE IMAP SERVER 'mydomain.com'"

GREAT!

I also did a clean install for Yosemite before this issue began. I don't get any error messages – it simply doesn't set up.
