Calendar - how is MobileMe suppose to work?

At various times during the day, all is well: ical, Entourage (on my imac), my iphone, MacBook Air are all synced beautifully. Then, whether I've changed anything or not, the automatic sync kicks in and when I next check, calendars on my iphone, MacBook Air, ical are BLANK. And they can remain blank for a long time. Eventually, the data (that thankfully remains) in Entourage on imac is synced with all of the above. Note, the data remains in Entourage, but that in ical is gone.

What I don't understand is whether MobileMe is designed to wipe everything clean and then reinstall the data form the cloud each time (seems incredibly inefficient and risky). I haven't been able to get onto the Calendar function on MobileMe except for the very rare success late at night or early in them morning.

My impression (from seeing blank calendars in my own devices) is that MobileMe is wiping all the data off of them (perhaps to compare it with what's in the cloud?) and only after quite some time (several hours at time), the data in ical reappears.

For the time being my Contacts are working fine and data remains in Address Book, iphone, MobileMe, MacBook Air without a problem - but the calendar is a disaster.

Can anyone tell me whether MM is supposed to work the way I'm seeing it work - and if not, what I can do about it?:confused:

It is supposed to run automatic syncs fro your Mac every 15 minutes, you are not supposed to 'lose', even temporarily, your date.. this is a bug

I see similar things, except that often my data doesn't reappear. I have rebuilt my calendar a dozen times after thinking it was working, only to have it all vanish. I sometime wind up with duplicates, multiple calenders of the same name, or have sync work on my iMac an not my iPhone or PC, or vice versa. I have yet to have it work properly with all my devices at the same time.

At least exchange sync on the iphone works well-but Apple licensed that from Microsoft. Funny that the Microsoft technology works on the iPhone and the equivelant Apple tech doesn't. Really all I need Mobile Me for is to get my outlook info from work to my iMac at home-which is claims to do but won't. If Snow Leopard will sync to exchange like claimed that may be the best answer.

Is there a way of reporting the bug?

I know Apple must know Mobile Me is full of bugs. BUT I tried to find on Apple's web site the feedback form for MobileMe and there isn't one. Something is wrong with Calendar (probably lots of things). I haven't been rebuilding it as eventually - sometimes after a night's rest - the calendar reappears, but it's not useful this way (to say the least).

I appreciate your responses - lowers my frustration level somewhat.
