Calendar inconsistent across platforms

Calendar drives me nuts and is in need of a major overhaul across all platforms to make it consistent and usable. Current status is an embarrassment for Apple, every time I set up an event I bump into some other weirdness. Things that come to mind:

You can set multiple reminders on your Mac - got an event 3 months from now? Create a reminder for 2 weeks ahead, 1 week, 1 day and time to leave. On iPhone you can only create 2.

Want to set up travel time? All built into the iPhone version. Mac doesn't allow you to switch on Travel Time and set a location.

Setting up a dentist appointment? Type in Dentist and it grabs some previous dentist appointment and copies the previous time and location. Usually the time is wrong and if you have multiple dentists the location and phone number are wrong - now you have to wrestle with fields that don't want to be changed.

The inconsistencies across devices, inability to edit fields sometimes, bad assumptions are absurd for a simple app that has been around 24 years.

You seem to be right about that one. (I'm sure some beta testers know whether that's the case with this month's major system updates.)

Travel Time is definitely available on the current Mac version:

I'm not sure what you mean with that one – for me on the Mac, "wrestling with fields" feels identical to filling out empty fields for a new event.

When typing the event's name, the app does produce a sort of autofill-style popover with other events from which to copy the data – convenient for creating new events similar to older ones – but you can just press Escape or Return to dismiss them and continue creating a fresh event.
