When someone sends me a calendar invitation that requires an acceptance or decline, it has been noticed that the time zone in the acceptance email they get is off. For example, I get a calendar invite for 11:30 AM Pacific Time. I accept. They get an email that looks like this:

Joel has accepted your invitation to:
event
Volunteer
location
Library
when
October 26, 2011, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
To update the event in your calendar, open the attachment.

It seems like it is defaulting to GMT or something. I checked my iCloud time zone preferences and it is set to Pacific. My calendars (iCal, iPhone calendar, etc.) are showing the appointments at the right time.

Any idea on what other setting(s) I need to change to get this fixed?

Thanks.

Time zone in invite acceptance e-mail

I've had the same problem. The accept / decline e-mail comes through with the GMT time of the event, rather than my time zone. Did you ever find a solution?
