Calendar Issue on 5.0.1

Hi, my husband just updated his 4S to 5.0.1 and when you open the calendar there is no little + sign in the upper right corner to add a new calendar entry. It was fine before the update. I've rebooted the phone but it's the same. Does anyone have this happening to them or found a workaround? Thanks!

turn on icloud to sync in the Calendar
