Anyone else getting calendar lag? This is happening on both my iPad and iPhone so doesn't seem device specific. Behavior includes taking a few seconds for events to load on both my iCloud calendars and my work's Exchange. Creating an event takes even longer sometimes with it seemingly frozen for a few seconds before allowing me to put in the details.

Same here. Happens since the first beta versions following the official iOS15 / IPadOS15.

Ditto, was fine on RC and 15.0 betas. Surprised it’s not being reported by more people.

Getting pretty decent lag on calendar app after upgrading to Monterey. Most accounts are fine, I have a gmail, icloud, Imap, and an Exchange account. The one exchange account is the one slowing everything down. I've removed and re-added the one exchange. Everything runs normal without it, but lags again once I add it back in. Has anyone had any luck in finding a solution?

Calendar lag on iPhone has been there for a long time, like years. I can update my calendar events on my Mac. Yet 24 hours later, the iPhone Calendar does not reflect the new events, unless I open the Calendar app on iPhone.

This seems that Apple still wants to keep the long battery run time perception by not running apps.

My lag issue is that the calendar is frozen for a bit when I open/switch to it on my iPhone. After a short time, it will behave normally but every initial load is frozen in time.

I am on a new iPhone 13 Pro, running the latest iOS, but there is nothing pro about this experience. My trusty 8 never had this issue.

It’s happening because of Exchange accounts. Remove your Exchange account and it’ll be fine again. Apple is supposedly working on a fix and there is a thread on the discussions.

Would’ve thought they’d have a solution today (seeing as they discontinued 15.0.2, where it wasn’t happening) but I guess we will have to wait another week…

Thank you! I'd love to remove my exchange account but this is also my work phone so will just deal until it gets patched. If I hit the powerball, I will gladly then remove my exchange account ??
