When I get a calendar reminder for an event that takes place the next day, it shows in the upper right corner and I have options to Snooze it for 5 minutes, 15, 30, or an hour. There is also Snooze (automatic). What is meant by Snooze automatic? Why are there no options to snooze for longer than one hour?

Thanks

Snooze Automatic is basically a 10 minute (actually 9) snooze.

Anything longer, you need to click on the Notification to bring up the event in Calendar and then adjust/add an alert time.

Can have seemingly infinite number of alerts. I have always used that feature since day one for things like catching a flight: alert at 3 hours to better be packed/showered, 2 hours for better be on the road, 1 hour better be parked and in line for TSA, 30 minutes for boarding time. Or birthday reminders: 1 week out (reminder to get a gift/card), day-of to send best wishes.

I'm blown away that this is limited like this. I just submitted a feature request but honestly think it should be reported as a bug that needs fixing ASAP. It makes calendar alerts hardly usable.

We already need user-defined intervals added in, not the option to snooze for a day or a week taken away.

Maybe someone from Apple can come and stand nearby and click "Snooze for one hour" every hour for us.
