Calendar syncing issues

Hey guys,
So I've been on the web all morning reading and fussing with this and just cannot get it to work.
I want it so the calendar on my phone syncs to the one on my mac.
Currently, if i go to iCloud.com and enter an event, it will show up on my iPhone and Mac.
If i make an event on my Mac's calendar, it will not show up on my phone.
If i make one on my Phone, it doesn't show up in either my iCloud or calendar on my Mac.

I just want to be able to see the calendar on my phone which is filled with events, on my Mac.
Please help!!
