When I sync my calendar events everything on the phone appears and is set one hour ahead of what I input on my computer. Does anyone know the cause of this and/or how I can fix it? Thanks everyone!

In the settings of your iPhone make sure you have the calendar time zone set to the same as your iCal calendar.
I had the same problem because my two calendars had different time zones.
