In my MacBook Air Catalina, my calendar shows 6 weeks in Month view. Is there a way to only show 4 weeks at a time in Month view?

That's not an option in the Calendar month view. Maybe a different calendar app would offer it.

I suppose you're wanting more vertical space on each day. Pretty sure WildSky is correct…it's a no-go in Calendar. You can change the font size, though.

There used to be a way to customize the number of days in week view but I believe it's been a while since that worked.

Although changing the font size doesn't change the number of weeks in the month view.
