Calendar won't sync since upgraded to 3.1.2

So I was running software version 2 for quite a while and didn't upgrade to 3.0 as I didn't have the need, until some of my apps wouldn't upgrade since I was running such an old software. I used pwnage to upgrade to 3.1.2 and then used fuzzband as my 2nd gen 3G had baseband 2.30 (current modem firmware is at 4.26.08) and the phone wouldn't work at all. I use mobileme and add most events to my calendar using a PC at work. Since I "updated" my iPhone, mobileme will no longer sync with my iPhone or iCal. I've been working with a MobileMe senior specialist to fix this and they want me to delete everything and start over. I just have a feeling that my problems with MobileMe are related to the recent jailbreak, but I haven't read of anyone else having a similar problem. Anyone have any thoughts if my recent jailbreak could be related to my problems with MobileMe? Also, I just tried to sync my iPhone calendar with iCal using iTunes and that doesn't work! I don't need the iPhone to be unlocked as I have a contract with AT&T, but now the network under the general tab in settings says "unavailable"

Thanks for any suggestions

Yes, but if I restore it and the problem is with MobileMe and having modem firmware 04.26.08, then it will never work. I haven't seen anyone else with similar problems, so I guess it just must be me.
