Just tap September in the upper left corner. To show week, turn to landscape

It's an iphone, not fine china....you can tap around for a bit to find out how to do something, or change something and it won't shatter into a million pieces...

Unless you're leaning off the space needle and tapping recklessly! 😛

Try Cal Alarm in the App store. Display is better than IOS calendar. Displays a nice list of events in monthly view. You can set it up to display any calendar. I have it set up to sync with my Google calendar on my MacBook Pro.
