I did calibrate my Apple Watch for the Outdoor Walk and Run (via Workout App) within first few days. Though, I got prompted to have my phone along with me when I headed for an evening walk (Outdoor). This was my first outdoor walk after updating the Watch OS yesterday. Does anyone see this behavior? Is watch loosing its previous calibration after the software update?

P.S. I'm aware that the watch will loose its calibration if it was unpaired from the phone, but that is not the case here.

I just got the same thing with my workout. Maybe this will make it a little more accurate.

It could have lost it.

It could have been because that's a new dialog never displayed before.

It could be because update improves the calibration.

There's a myriad of reasons, but I think everything will be OK.

Same here. I previously calibrated and was prompted to calibrate again. Interestingly enough, the same walk today (1.0.1) w/ iPhone yielded a shorter distance than yesterday (1.0.0) w/o iPhone. Hopefully it is now more accurate. Will update after my walk this evening (if different again).
