Calibre won't connect with Ipad

Anyone set up Calibre with Ipad? I have Wifi turned on and unit is connected to Mac. When I try to transfer a book from Calibre and click on "Send to devise" I get a message that says "Cannot send. No devise is connected:.

Any suggestions.

You need to export the book as an epub, import it into iTunes, and then sync your iPad.
