I wanted to block incoming text messages and calls from specific numbers.
    How do I do it?
I am navigating through my iPhone and I can't seem to find it.
    Thanks in advance!

    Really? Another jailbreak thingy? Haha
Isn't there any app or something that I could download to enable some sorta call and text blocking?

We won't see any kind of features like this until the fall with the next OS.

However, Google voice has this feature but you would need to start giving ou your google voice phone number instead of the one provided by your carrier. Hope this helps.

Looks like subscription with my carrier is the last resort for call and text blocking. Still looking forward to the next OS! Thanks for the responses! :)

I'll second the Google Voice recommendation.
It has full options to block calls/ texts from an individual caller, the ability to set times when you don't want to be bothered, and a bunch of other useful options... the downside being that you have to use a new (their) number which could be a hassle if you have a lot of contacts or are using it for work.

Possibly the Youmail app. Not sure on the blockage details. Check with your carrier also.

The only work around you can do directly on the iphone is to save all the telemarketer phone number into a contact list, call it something like: "Blocked" and assign that contact list a silent ringtone. It will still let the calls come through but this way you won't hear the phone ringing when they call. It will still vibrate in silent mode though.
