My new Iphone 4 has dropped a call with a call failed message. However - the listener/caller on the other line is not actually dropped. It is my phone. I get the failed call, so I hang up and start a new call. The listener says they can still hear me making a new call - but I cannot hear them. Hopefully this makes sense. Is this a phone issue or an AT&T issue?

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A400 Safari/6531.22.7)

Could just be a congested network issue at the time of your call. Do you notice this happening more during off peak, or peak time?

I've had a similar issue--caller on the other end could be heard but they couldn't hear me at all--that mysteriously went away (knock on wood) after a few days. It could be, as Irish suggested, a random congestion issue (AT&T). Could be the Death Grip. Could be nothing at all. Give it a few days and see what happens.

    ATT just plain sucks

I am on my 4th phone. I still drop calls like crazy. I live in southern california. Att has no clue what it is. Have a micro cell which is junk. I am starting to become bitter.
