I am having problems with my iphone14 - same problem with my last iphone12 - where every time I call someone I have Call Failed. Only way I can perform the call isntyping *#31# to disable hidden caller id. Usually I have to perform this task several times in a single day. Anyone that had same issue?

Guess: the caller receiver blocking hidden/unknown numbers.

I know I do that: my cellco's call blocker app has that option.

The issue here is I am not able to call anyone. After I type the *# thing then I am able to call the same number I tried or anybody else

Doh! Typed in the wrong thing in my reply! Meant to say receiver is blocking private callers (corrected).

So, yeah, that or above. Not phone/os issue.

It might be although I have two lines and both fail.
Exactly. Same carrier? Reach out to your carrier. There might be a setting in their end.

Many years ago, my carrier had only a setting on my account such that when abroad I could not make phone calls. It has nothing to do with my phone. It turns out it was a setting they had mistakenly applied to my account.
