hey all -

my roommate and i ordered the viphone at the same time on feb. 3rd. He ordered through the verizon store before it started throwing error messages, i ordered through the apple store.

His arrived today from tennessee via fedex, my phone being shipped via ups coming from hong kong and doesn't arrive until tomorrow at the earliest. Why these phones weren't in a warehouse somewhere states side is completely beyond me.

Maybe i'm just green with jealously that he is using the iphone while i'm stuck with the ******** blackberry storm2 for another day.

My 2 cents.

REALLY .............

Actually sir, you are wrong.
There is an iPhone 4 on AT&T, and then an iPhone 4 on Verizon. Neither Apple nor Verizon nor AT&T have ever called it "Verizon iPhone", etc.

Any questions?

Exactly. It's great that you guys got the iPhone and all, but Verizon isn't some special mystical carrier that everything will change for. Now, what was the topic again?

No one said it was. Seems that only the AT&T folk are the bitter ones (bitter that Verizon got the iPhone, I don't know). I think we're just trying to differentiate between the two when asking questions, etc. Nothing wrong with that. Me, I've had them all on AT&T from the beginning and I'm happy to have switched. Nothing wrong with stating that we got our iPhone on which carrier. I'm sure as time passes, more and more people will be stating their carrier.

But for some reason, the only people lashing out with bitter comments are those AT&T folks lashing out at the Verizon folks. Not sure why, but it's been pretty evident ever since this whole thing started. Maybe they're just not happy that we have new people posting with lots of questions and it's taking the spotlight away from them? Whatever.

Hmm

Apple never offered pre-orders, only Verizon did.... So... That means you really didn't buy it from Apple, some website fooled you, and they stole your money.

Verizon was rewarding their existing customers buy having the Iphone in the states ready to ship. Apple was doing business as usual and shipping from China. That's the reason people who ordered from Verizon recieved them a day earlier. I still wouldn't complain receiving the Iphone a day later shipped all the way from China.
