I got my new I phone 7 jet black 128 GB three weeks back
When ever i get a regular call or i make a regular call seems like other person cant hear me. If i switch on speaker then they can hear me still with bad quality. However when i am making whats up call, IMO calls or skype calls then both sides are absolutely fine.
Am getting very annoyed. Need answer and solution ASAP........

Well, if restarting or resetting settings doesn't change anything then it could certainly be a hardware issue and you would probably want to contact Apple about it.

iPhones traditionally have horrible phone quality. Everyone tells me the same thing too (can't hear me). And every person that has EVER called me from their iPhone always sounds garbled or broken up.

It helps to have a strong cellular connection but for the most part, expect horrible voice connection with an iPhone. I've used two different el cheapo TracFone cell phones (flip phones) in the past, and a better Samsung flip phone (6 years old) and these were junk phones, and I always got good reception and nobody ever told me they couldn't hear me.

With my iPhone 6 Plus, people complain all the time. It's almost a worthless phone. Definitely the worst "phone" I've ever used. Nice pocket computer though.

Sorry, I don't agree. I've owned iPhones from a 5c to a now 7+ and have always had good reception both ways. No complaints. In the past I have owned flip phones from AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. None of them compare with the quality of any of the iPhones I have owned.

I’m having the same issue with a brand new SE, although I can barely hear the other person. When I make a call, it sounds like static. Using the speaker or a headset works fine though.

Did you get this problem sorted out?

Any updates on this? My less-than two week old replacement iPhone 7+ is doing this.

Mine was a hardware issue. Phone was replaced and works fine now.
