Calling using iPhone failed

Iphone 6S plus has been acting strange this passed few days.
I have good signal strenght on Verizon i sometimes get the message "Call using iphone failed".
In the past if a call dropped it just says call failed this new to me. Anyone also having this issue any fixes?

When you get the message, where are you, indoors/outdoors, in a wooden/concrete/steel structure, same place each time, on the road or in one place or many apps still open and draining your battery down to low levels ?. Need those questions answered.
