Before updating, I was happily answering calls to my iPhone on my MacBook Pro Max M1. But after updating to Sequoia the little popup notice informing me a call is inbound and allowing me to answer it does not appear. I can still place calls using FaceTime, and once I answer the call on my iPhone I can transfer it to the Mac. The popup call notice does works on my iPad Pro, so I don't believe it's a phone issue.

I've explored the settings on my Mac and iPhone to see if I Sequoia put something new that needed to be turned on but didn't find anything. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggested courses of action?

Thanks!

I was receiving the pop-up notification until a couple of days ago when I updated to 15.1.1. Very annoying!

make sure on your iPhone Settings:
(Cellular)
"Calls on Other Devices" ON (or toggle Off/ON if already on)
Your MacBook is selected ON (or toggle Off/ON if already on)

and obviously.. ALL devices must be on same AppleID

Erratically, I found that after updates to my iPhone 12 Pro (since Ventura and iOS16) Settings don't always get updated correctly or are 'turned off' after a new update. Not sure why this is happening. It very annoying but now Im systematically going thru ALL setting immediately after any update to make sure settings remain/translate.

Thanks but the calls were going through to the Mac, those settings were fine, it was something on the Mac that had stopped the pop-ups. Anyway, the solution, as so often the case, was just to reboot the Mac. I can't believe that with the level of sophistication of our devices, the solution is basically to unplug and restart!

And yes, I agree, settings do seem to be changed selectively with each update to the OS.
