So it was my first day of class today and I finally had an opportunity to start taking notes on my new 10.5 iPad Pro and its great and all...Found it comfortable to lay my iPad flat on the table with my Smart Cover tucked under the iPad (so I don’t have to remove it and because is it protect the iPad from scratching on the table.

But after just one day of doing this, I already kind of see a ring getting lightly stamped on my sexy black leather Smart Cover (because of that god awful camera bump)...an issue that I didn’t have with my iPad Air 2...it’s much more notice le in real life then on my picture...and that’s after one day :/

Does anyone else know what I’m talking about?

It’s really a shame because I am/was committed to using my iPad without a case (only a Smart Cover)..I don’t know on what I’m going to lay my iPad on to protect it from scratching...Or is the aluminum and camera tough enough not to get scratched....how do you guys use ur iPad when it’s laying flat?

Yep I had this, poor design.

I now have a i-blazon back cover which solved it. Shame though as I know what you mean about using it with no cover.

Well, that leaves you with 3 choices:
  1. Get over it (a small divot in a case is not a big deal).
  2. Put a back cover on it so the camera is flush.
  3. Get a new front cover (which will probably result in a similar outcome).
