OK, I'm stumped. Sometimes (not often) when I take the phone out of my pocket, press the camera button to wake it up and then press again to take a picture...... it doesn't take a picture. When I press the button, an animation consisting of a black rectangle propagates inward from the button area and a glow (similar to Siri) runs around the edge of the frame. But no exposure. Even if I take my finger off the button and try again, it does the same thing. If I use the onscreen shutter button, it takes the picture and then the camera button works for subsequent exposures as expected.
What gives? Bug or feature? Am I holding it wrong? Anyone?
