Hi,

My iphone 5s states the Nikon D800 is incompatible when I connect the devices using the lightning-usb female > usb 3 male to usb 3 micro(to camera).

I am on lastest version of ios 8.

I was told you can only connect using iPad even with lightning>sd adaptor

Is there anyway to get my images from an SD card to my iphone simply and without having to spend $$$ on wifi solutions such as camranger.

Anyone know why there is this restriction.

Thanks.

Thanks. I need to transmit images via ftp app when I am working so I need to be able to do this on the street.

Camera to computer: transfer pictures
iPhone to computer: transfer pictures

Camera can't connect using cable?!

Have you looked into the FlashAir card? Not sure if compatible with your camera, but is affordable wifi solution.
