Why the need to be uncouth? Whether or not you are entitled to your opinion matters not when the time to express it is inappropriate. They both look bad and the kid needs that underbite fixed asap.

Apple leapfrogged last year on the 11 Pro models. 12 Pro feels very iterative in every way except...well in every way actually.Think this goes to show how good the 11 pro max cameras were and still are a year later.
Yeah the proprietary Dolby video capture is nonsensical. It’s Apple being Apple without really making any sense. The camera would have been my only reason to consider the 12 Pro (or Pro Max). After seeing the comparison though, I think I'd better stick to the 11 Pro and save my money / expectation for the 13. In some regards I'd go as far as to say the 11 Pro is a more "sanity-checked" product with its larger battery and no MagSafe that could demagnetise my hotel card and office pass I often slip in the same pocket. I also don't get the point of Apple enforcing yet another new filetype for video capture that doesn't even play well with their own software (FCPX), let alone others
Who takes all these product decisions anyway?? It's like marketing runs product at Apple nowadays.

I doubt it’s marketing running product, you’ve only experienced the marketing of the product and you already don’t like it.The camera would have been my only reason to consider the 12 Pro (or Pro Max). I'm also disappointed by the lack of iteration on the camera hardware of the 12 Pro compared to the 11 Pro. But we don't know how much of the improvements in the 12 Pro are related to changes that stem from the A14 SoC (particularly the Neural Engine) versus iOS software changes. I think we need to think of the camera system as three interconnected components: imaging hardware + SoC (AI/ML/ISP/CPU/GPU) + software. The 12 Pro is really an amazing iOS update wrapped in a new boxy design that Apple decided to sell for $999 instead of making it available to 11 Pro users.
I learned (through many mistakes) to choose products based on their physical characteristics over internal technology specifications. If a smaller phone will bring you joy, then that’s the one for you.Had and still have a hard time choosing between the iPhone 11 Pro and 12 mini that have already ordered.
Basically:
iPhone 11 Pro 256gb
- Great battery
- Premium finish
- Very good screen (Is 5.8 the best size, best compromise?)
- More storage (256gb)
VS
iPhone 12 Mini 128gb
- Super pocketable phone,
- New chip (A14)/new 2020 model better performances overall
- 5G (well...not sure if this is a pro yet
- Better wide lense

The 11 has had a year of software optimisations to improve the cameras performance?I have an iPhone SE 2020 but am thinking that at some point in the future I may get one of the iPhone 12's, and it's the 12 Pro that appeals to me most. However, when looking through photo comparisons with the iPhone 11 Pro and after looking at a couple of videos on YouTube some of the photos look slightly better on the 11 Pro. That's not the case with all photos but I'm wondering why is that, especially when the 12 Pro has the A14 Bionic chip and LiDAR technology?
