With the news that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus can charge an a higher rate when used with the iPad power adapter I had my hope up that the camera connection kits would also work. Needless to say that they dont. Does anyone think that since its more of just a software limitation now Apple will enable them in a future iOS release?

It would be great to utilize the screen space of the new phones, as well as fully replace my mini

My Camera connection kit was working on ios7 and iPhone 5. However now it doesn't. Seems crazy. Why can't they get these sort of things sorted out. Serves me right for upgrading I suppose my fault for upgrading. Trouble is the GoPro app has been nobbled too so I've no way of getting my pictures into the iPhone for social media and I'm off to Sydney in 2 weeks for my hole :(

You'd think with the availability of having 128gb they'd allow the connector to work on iPhones. The thought of just carrying my phone for photo backups during travel excited me, especially since a lot of my posts abroad are via Instagram.

Unfortunately I'll continue to have to bring my laptop.
